Databases All the IWI libraries subscribe to a number of online databases. Follow the steps to access your library's databases.
- Have your library card with you.
- Go to NSW NET
- Choose your library from the drop down menu (right hand column) and press "Go"
- Choose the database you would like to access (make sure you click on the appropriate column depending on whether you are accessing the site from home or from the library). Databases available:
Australia/NZ Reference Centre and MasterFILE Premier - Includes newspaper articles on Australian and International current affairs, business, social science, health, literature and biographical information. Literary Reference Center - Has extensive coverage of literary biographies, plot summaries, criticism and author interviews. It includes full text of 50 000 poems, 13 500 short stories and 7000 classic texts.NoveList - Helps guide readers to other fiction titles of interest either by subject or 'read-alikes' - other authors who are similar to a favourite author.Science Reference Center - Extensive coverage of articles on biology, physics, chemistry, earth sciences, space, the environment, wildlife and technology.Consumer Health Complete - Has evidence based health reports, health news and articles and articles form health encyclopedias and reference books. There is drug and herb information as well as information on alternative health sources. It also includes images, diagrams and health videos.Standards Australia Online - Avaialble for use in the library only.
